2020 has been a year of unprecedented disruption. So, in 2021, instead of hosting three specialized SLP conferences under the Connect umbrella, we're reimagining our offerings to focus on the unique needs of SLPs in private practice.
We know your world has been turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic and other changes. So instead of a conference, we have designed curated learning paths on telepractice and practice management to deliver relevant, practical tips that you can digest in smaller blocks of time and implement in your practice right away. (Think a series of snacks rather than one multi-course meal.)
A learning path is a curated set of shorter courses (1–2 hours each) on an essential topic, designed for you to take in order—or in whatever order you wish—as you have time in your schedule. Our learning paths for private practitioners identify sets of key courses so you can get on your way to mastering particular areas of practice according to your needs, priorities, and interests. Available in the ASHA Learning Pass now:
Telepractice Learning Path: Together, these four courses present considerations and strategies for effective remote service delivery. In 2021, look for our telepractice webinars on remote practice with specific populations.
Practice Management Learning Path: Together, these courses present practice considerations as you retool your practice and yourself for the later stages of the pandemic and post-pandemic reality.
And look for more learning paths throughout 2021.
One or more of the online conferences we have planned in 2021 may fit your needs and interests, depending on the client population you work with. Check out the full list of online conferences and events happening in 2021.
Whether you've attended Private Practice Connect once or many times, we thank you for making Connect a great learning and relationship-building experience over the years. We are excited about the learning opportunities we are launching for each work setting in 2021 and hope you'll connect with us there.
