Differential diagnosis of stuttering from cluttering, atypical disfluency, language-disorder-related disfluency, and covert stuttering can be confusing and challenging. This webinar will provide strategies and methods for differential diagnosis of these disorders as well as ideas for developing treatment plans for each.
You will be able to:
- state the diagnostic criteria for cluttering
- identify three strategies for differential diagnosis of stuttering from covert stuttering, cluttering, atypical disfluency, and disfluency related to language disorder
- identify three treatment principles for working with individuals with non-stuttering fluency disorders
