2018 Coding and Reimbursement Update for Audiologists (On-Demand Webinar)

Continued changes in health care regulations and reimbursement pose ongoing challenges for audiologists. This course will explore ways audiologists can respond to the ever-changing health care and payment policy landscape, which includes new quality reporting requirements, alternative payment models, and over-the-counter hearing aid legislation. Participants will receive instruction on accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding in order to avoid common billing errors as well as advocacy strategies to promote the value of audiology services.
You will be able to:
- apply accurate diagnostic and procedure codes to bills
- discuss the possible roles audiologists will play in the transition to alternative payment models
- describe implications of the new OTC hearing device law to dysphagia management
