Evidence-Based Systematic Review Topic Nomination

ASHA's National Center for Evidence-Based Practice in Communication Disorders (N-CEP) would like to invite you to nominate one or more topics for an upcoming N-CEP evidence-based systematic review (EBSR). An EBSR is a formal study of the amount and quality of the published scientific evidence surrounding clinical questions of interest to ASHA members, and the conclusions that can be drawn from that evidence. EBSR findings can be used to inform clinical practice, identify research gaps, and, when there is sufficient evidence, to serve as the basis for evidence-based practice guidelines.

Please use the appropriate link below to nominate a clinical question that you feel is important for ASHA members. Feel free to nominate as many clinical questions as you like, but each question will require a separate submission. Rather than expressing it as a question, please just provide the population, intervention, and outcome for intervention questions, or population, diagnostic tool, and health status/condition for diagnostic/screening/detection questions. This will ensure that all of the required elements are included.

For more detailed instructions, view the Instructions for Nomination page. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact N-CEP Director Rob Mullen at rmullen@asha.org or 301-296-8745.
