Changes to Publication of Board of Ethics Decisions
Beginning with the May 2017 issue, Board of Ethics decisions published in the printed version of The ASHA Leader for members found to have violated the ASHA Code of Ethics consist of:
- full name
- Code of Ethics version applied
- public sanction (and length of sanction, if applicable)
- effective date of the sanction
Full details of the decisions, including the rationales and the violated principles and rules, will be located in The ASHA
Leader Online. You can also use the ASHA Certification and Ethics Verification online lookup to verify the public ethics violation history of an individual who holds or who held the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
