The 2018 CSD Education Survey, which collects information on all higher education communication sciences and disorders (CSD) academic degree programs, closed on October 31, 2018. A total of 294 higher education institutions submitted surveys on their academic programs for a participation rate of 90%.
Program information collected in the CSD Education Survey is not only used to update EdFind, ASHA's online directory of institutions offering CSD degree programs, but it is also used to assess trends in programming and the education-career pipeline for graduates in CSD areas of study.
The Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD) and ASHA thank all institutions that submitted their program information in this year's survey. CAPCSD and ASHA plan to launch next year's 2019 CSD Education Survey in July 2019.
