Humans of ASHA: Kristopher Brock

When I was eight, I was the "translator" for my 5-year-old brother who was diagnosed with chronic otitis media and phonological impairment. The student clinicians and supervisors at University of the Pacific knew I loved basketball, and at that time, the starting center for the team was majoring in speech-language pathology. They introduced me, and I haven't looked back. Thanks in part to the University of the Pacific and Vic Trierweiler, now I'm an assistant professor at California State University, Fullerton.
