Course Description: This session discussed normal development of anatomy and function relating to feeding and swallowing; as well as feeding and swallowing difficulties found in neonatal intensive care units, cleft-craniofacial anomalies, and young children. Speech-language pathologists learned instrumental evaluation of feeding and swallowing, as well as ways to develop intervention plans based on interdisciplinary assessment.
