Learn how to enroll and bill Medicare clients as a private practitioner. This program reviews the enrollment process and addresses other key topics for the prospective Medicare provider. Speakers focus on coding and the process for submitting claims and appealing denials. They also discuss how to identify and interpret local coverage determinations (LCDs) from Medicare administrative contractors. Other topics include covered and non-covered settings for private practice billing, Clinical Fellow eligibility, and restrictions on services rendered by non-enrolled SLPs. The Medicare Fee Schedule, Current Procedural Terminology, and International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, are also addressed.
