During the past decade, ASHA has systematically examined research integrity issues in the discipline of communication sciences and disorders. This program presents the ASHA Research Integrity Grant Group’s review of historical and contemporary literature, evaluation of survey results, and analysis of ASHA policies with regard to research integrity.

Learning Outcomes
You will be able to:

  • identify patterns of teaching and learning about research integrity in communication sciences and disorders graduate programs
  • discuss perceptions of research integrity as they apply to scientific journals within the discipline
  • list policies and practices established by ASHA to protect the integrity of published scientific work
