Pulls together the theoretical perspectives of child development and language development and reviews assessment and intervention strategies. Provides assistance for preparation and provision of culturally appropriate, effective outcome measured preschool language intervention. Also addresses legislative revisions in health care and education policies that will affect the manner in which services are rendered to preschoolers with language disorders.
