Guidelines for Audiologic Screening
Provides background information on principles of screening; test performance; program development, management, and follow-up; and disorder, impairment, and disability. Guidelines are included for all age groups, including children from birth to 18 years who have not previously been identified as having a hearing disorder. Guidelines for adults include screening for hearing disorders, hearing impairment, and hearing disability and are accompanied by references. Appendices include form for hearing screening (adults), self-assessment of communication, and bibliography.
