- The program has a strong clinical focus with several in-house and outside practicum experiences including: Minot Cleft Palate Clinic, Infant Development, North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities, Trinity Hospital, Adult Learning Center, Headstart, Trinity Nursing Home, Minot Health and Rehab Center, PACE, Job Core, Dakota Girls and Boys Ranch and several area schools and private practices. In addition graduate student choose their final externship site in the location of their choice,
The school provides generalized speech language therapy practicum experience as well as specialized experiences in preschool language and literacy, dementia, swallowing, ALS Voice Banking, Stuttering, Aphasia, Aural Rehabilitation, School-based Speech Language Therapy and Concussion Management.
In addition, students are allowed their choice of a final external practicum in practice sites across the US and Canada.
