1. Emphasis in evidence-based practice 2. Emphasis on clinical supervision 3. Final scholarly project (capstone)involving single subject research design 4. The majority of the time that students are involved in the program they interact with instructors and peers through distance education formats, most of which are available to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 5. The program also includes on-site (residency) experiences four times across the first six semesters, ranging from 2-6 days on-site per semester.
