Illinois Professional Educator License Unique feature of traditional masters program: 1) 4 semesters of on-campus coursework and clinical experiences (summer-fall-spring-summer) and then two 14-week full-time internships, one in medical setting and one in education setting. 2) Laptop computer is required. Technology is used throughout program. Case-based clinical emphasis with digital test forms and video examples are included in all courses. 3) Academic and clinical experiences are integrated. All faculty have Certificate of Clinical Competence and previous work exprience prior to joining university faculty; all faculty teach and supervise.
