Specialty Tracks / Unique Features:
The UCO SLP program has had the opportunity for some time to collaborate with the Oklahoma School for the Deaf through a satellite program on the UCO campus. The OSD Regional Preschool for Children with Hearing Impairment provides a lab school environment for SLP students to gain experience with children who present hearing impairment as well as other challenges. The contract for this collaboration also provides for five Graduate Assistant positions to assist in the Preschool.
