These articles describe intervention approaches and outcomes for four areas of cognitive-communication rehabilitation: attention impairments, memory disorders, discourse deficits, and challenging behavior.

Learning Outcomes
You will be able to:

• describe common treatment approaches to each of the four areas of cognitive-communication rehabilitation presented in the articles
• identify strengths and weaknesses in the evidence-base for treatment approaches in each area
• identify at least three factors that indicate a person with traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a good candidate for a specific treatment approach
