This program provides an overview of current strategies for treating children who stutter and demonstrates how current research can enhance clinical practice in stuttering. Presenters develop a framework for an assessment process that facilitates formulation of treatment goals and evaluation of treatment options. Intervention options are discussed, with primary emphasis on the caseload challenges of school-based speech-language pathologists.
