In individuals with aphasia, fluent verbal communication is often compromised by agrammatism. These articles focus on grammatical impairments associated with aphasia and evidence-based practices for treatment.
Learning Outcomes You will be able to:
- discuss differences in production between typical speakers and speakers with aphasia and evaluate the evidence base for intervention focused on verb production
- describe the basis for “mapping therapy” and the “mapping deficit hypothesis”
