In 2007 and 2008 we had local banks use their reader boards to advertise "Better Hearing and Speech Month" by sharing "Helping People Communicate" on the board the whole month of May. The banks were enthusiastic. One bank even helped with a donation campaign in 2008. We had our Kootenai Medical Center outpatient pediatrics department decorate a bin by painting their handprints across the sides. Then toys were donated during the whole month of May at the bank for the pediatrics department. It helped our budget and the bank loved having the publicity!
