Basic Instructions

How to Subscribe

Send a message to asha-aud-forum-request@lists.asha.org including the following information:

• Subject: Subscribe
• Message Text: Your full name as it is on your ASHA membership card (no nicknames) and your e-mail address. (To help identify your membership information you may want to include your ASHA membership Id number.)
• ASHA Membership and Audiologist status must be confirmed before a given subscriber will be added to the list.

How to Unsubscribe

Select the "unsubscribe" address in the footer of any message sent to the list. This link will remove your e-mail from the list.You may also send a message to asha-aud-forum-request@lists.asha.org including the following information:

• Subject: Unsubscribe
• Message Text: Include your full name and the e-mail address that you would like to have removed.

How to Post (Send) Messages

You can post your own messages by sending your message to the following address: asha-aud-forum@lists.asha.org . Please include your subject on the subject line of your message.

If your message was posted successfully, it will also be sent to you.

Replying to Messages

To reply to a message that everyone in the listserv may view, make sure the asha-aud-forum@lists.asha.org is included in the "to" field of the message.

If you send a posting message to asha-aud-forum-request@lists.asha.org it will not be viewed by other subscribers. The listserv will not forward your message even if you are a subscriber to the listserv. Messages should only be sent to asha-aud-forum@lists.asha.org or sent as a reply to the sender of the message.

Going To be Away from your Mailbox?

Send an unsubscribe message before you leave to asha-aud-forum-request@lists.asha.org and then re-subscribe when you return by sending a subscribe message.

E-mail Address Change

Send a message to asha-aud-forum-request@lists.asha.org with the following information:

• Subject: Change of e-mail address
• Message Text: Your name, your old e-mail address, and your new e-mail address to be subscribed.
