Description:The LUI is a standardized parent-report questionnaire assessing pragmatic language development. Its 14 subscales assess a child's spoken communication in wide range of settings and for broad variety of functions. The LUI has been recommended as a measure for evaluating spoken language acquisition in children with autism spectrum disorders (Tager-Flusberg et al., 2009, J Speech, Language, and Hearing Research.)
