In an amazing surprise, I got engaged at ASHA! Well, it wasn't actually at the Convention, but the previous Sunday on my (and my fiancee's) first trip to Boston. Being so far away from home, I did not have all the friends and coworkers to share the news with the next day, so I want to say a gigantic thank you to all my national colleagues, whose names I never caught, who shared a couple of minutes between sessions, on the bus, or in line for coffee, to join me in my sheer happiness and surprise! Thank you so much, I had an amazing time at the Convention and I felt like I was surrounded by friends the entire time.
