Books are a rare and valued treasure in Uganda. Often it is the availability of books that decides the chances of a proper education.
We need your help to set up a resource library for our students who will attend the first speech and language course in Uganda.
Any books covering issues in speech and language treatment are very welcome. Specific areas we need books for are:
- linguistics (all areas)
- psychological and social counseling
- medical sociology
- neurology, neuroanatomy, neuropsychology
- community-based rehabilitation
- physiological disabilities
- multiple learning disabilities
