I would like to thank the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for paying my yearly dues. It is such a great feeling to know that there is so much concern for those of us who were affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Having so much on my mind, I forgot about the upcoming renewal of my yearly dues. I quickly called the Action Center to renew over the telephone. The Action Center person who answered my call informed me that my dues had already been paid. I was so overwhelmed that this statement brought tears to my eyes.
I was so touched by the organization's generosity and concern for those of us who are trying to re-build our homes and lives. I, for one, lost my house and am in the process of re-building in more ways than one.
I am very proud to be a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Please know that I am very grateful and I appreciate your generosity, kindness, and concern. Thank you so much.
