Bringing Native American Issues Home

I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading Verlee Neha's article "Home Again" (The ASHA Leader, Feb. 18). I am also employed as a speech-language pathologist at a Native American school. My school is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I find that I face many of the same challenges as Verlee, working in this Indian community. I was very pleased to see an article dedicated to speech-language pathology as related to Native Americans. I felt at home reading it. Check out our school at http://www.hannahvilleschool.net/.
