The article titled "Audiology Keynote Sessions Probe Hair Cell Research, Other Hot Topics" in the Dec. 14, 2004 issue of The ASHA Leader was very succinct, informative, and impressive regarding the state of auditory research, as reflected in the keynote sessions at the recent ASHA Convention. Congratulations to Tina Mullins and Linda Vaughan for this excellent article.
Important clinical questions are raised by the research efforts of Kujawa, Cotanche, and Durham in this article that generate excitement for the future of hearing sciences and clinical practice of audiology.
