A Lifetime of Stewardship to BHSC

I enjoyed the article in the February issue regarding the growth of the Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center).

As a former employee as well as a former member of the Center's Board of Directors, I feel compelled to call attention to a glaring, and I hope, unintentional, omission. The Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center was founded, developed, nurtured, and achieved local, state, and national prominence for 30 years under the stewardship of one exceptional man, Dr. Elmo L. Knight. To have omitted his singular achievement is a grave and serious failure on the part of Ms. Maher. There would be no Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center if it were not for a lifetime of dedicated work and devotion of Dr. Elmo L. Knight.
