Editors' Handbook for ASHA Scholarly Journals

The Editors' Handbook is written primarily as a reference tool for the journal editors and members of ASHA's Publications Board, but is also open to other persons interested in the policies and procedures of ASHA's scholarly journals program. The Editors' Handbook is considered the official policies and procedures manual of the Publications Board and the Council of Editors.

Changes to this online Handbook will be made shortly after new policies are passed by the Publications Board. All Board members will be notified when a change to the Handbook is made, and Board members have the right and responsibility to check the Handbook to ensure that new policies are immediately reflected online. Errors in the Handbook should be reported to the director of ASHA's publications unit and/or the chair of the Publications Board.
