Audiology "Back the Schools!" Advocacy Campaign

The Chair of ASHA's Government Relations & Public Policy (GRPP) Board, Susan Brannen, a school-based audiologist, is leading the "Back the Schools!" audiology education advocacy campaign during the month of October. While August was an exciting month with ASHA members sending over 7,500 e-mails to the United States Congress on key audiology issues in health care settings, this fall there are some pressing education issues that need your urgent attention.

You can participate in this campaign by gaining congressional support on issues that affect audiologists and students in schools. The legislation that we will be focusing on in our "Back the Schools!" campaign includes:

Visit the above links, fill in your name and address, and then hit the "Send Message." An e-mail will be composed and sent to your elected officials. It's an easy and quick way to let your voice be heard!
