ASHA Strategic Plan
Issue G
Second Quarter Progress Report (April-June, 2006)
|
|
ISSUE G: Understanding and recognition of cultural, linguistic, and political differences worldwide will facilitate ASHA‘s ability to work collaboratively with other international associations.
2nd Quarter Highlights
- A letter has been prepared to send to selected international associations related to communication sciences and disorders to collect information necessary to identify the cultural, linguistic, and political differences that impact on the delivery of services to individuals with communication disorders. This strategy applies to all of the strategies in the 2006 work plan that requires collecting data/information from other countries. Rather than send several requests, all of the requests have been included in one letter.
There are 5 strategies in the work plan for Issue G. Following is the status for the 1st and 2nd quarter.
