Professional Bio

Jennifer Schultz received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Psychology from USD in 1989 and a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Iowa in 1991. She worked as a speech-language pathologist at Sioux Valley Hospital from 1992 to 2000 and is currently employed as a speech-language pathologist at South Central Education Cooperative. She has had research published in the areas of dysphagia and cognitive/communication assessment. Since serving as SDSLHA President, Jennifer has remained active in the association, serving on the education committee and participating in strategic planning retreats. In recent years, Jennifer has been a presenter at annual SDSLHA conventions, cooperative in-service trainings and a regional literacy symposium. She received the SDSLHA Volunteerism Award in 2005.
