Professional Bio

I have been a SLP in the public school system since 1975, and have worked in a variety of settings. I have provided services to Head Start preschool programs, in addition to elementary, junior high and high school students. I have worked at a comprehensive high school campus of about 4,000 students, in addition to an alternative high school, community school and charter school. I have supervised student clinicians, a SLPA, and many completing a CFY/RPE.

In addition to my public school assignment, I have been active in CSHA, ASHA, and the National Stuttering Association. I am also a member of MSCC, CTA and the Upland Teachers Association. I believe that my varied experience makes me a qualified candidate for the SLP Advisory Council position.
