Professional Bio
Sue A. Goldman, MA, CCC-SLP, spent the bulk of her career working, collaborating and advocating in public schools. She is the author of ASHA's Let's Talk on IDEA and co-author of New Jersey's Technical Assistance Document: The Evaluation of Speech and Language. Volunteer service includes New Jersey's Special Education Review Commission, past president, board member and current SAC Steering chair of NJSHA and board member of the New Jersey Coalition of Inclusive Education. ASHA credits involve IDEA Member Advisory Group, Ad Hoc Committee rewriting Guidelines for the Roles and Responsibilities of School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists and initial SEAL for New Jersey. Awards include NJSHA's Volunteer of the Year Award and Honors of the Association from NJSHA and the Middlesex County Governor's Teacher Recognition Award.

Professional Bio
Kathleen has worked in acute care, long term acute care, sub-acute care, inpatient rehab and outpatient rehab facilities serving adults and children. She worked as a speech-language specialist in a school for children with multiple handicaps; has launched 2 outpatient pediatric speech programs and has advanced outpatient services for adults and children. Over a three year period she served as the clinician and expert witness in a New Jersey administrative law case to obtain an AAC device for a nursing home resident. Currently Kathleen is the Senior Speech Pathologist for Saint Clare's Health System.
If elected to the SLPAC, representation of issues affecting New Jersey, problem solving for staff shortages, educational program advancement, team building and patient advocacy efforts are areas Kathleen would like to address.
