Professional Bio
Tori Gustafson has been employed at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (TTUHSC) for 15 years. She is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Audiology Program where she supervises clinic as well as teaches Diagnostic Audiology, Counseling, Auditory Processing and Aural Rehabilitation. She is also teaching individuals with current teaching certification to help them gain the required knowledge to become Deaf Educators. She has published in the areas of unilateral hearing loss, FM systems and auditory processing. Over the years, she has helped obtain over $150,000 in grant support for clinical service and research. She has been recognized as an outstanding teacher and clinician at TTUHSC, as well as received certificates of appreciation from TSHA.

Professional Bio
Dr. McIlwain graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a BS in 1996, and MS in 1997. He accepted a commission with the U.S. Army as an audiologist and has served in Germany, Iraq, Kosovo, and Bosnia. During his time overseas, Dr. McIlwain completed his AuD degree through distance learning with the Pennsylvania College of Optometry School of Audiology. His Army job assignments include Hearing Conservation Program Manager for the Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (Europe), Investigator for the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Lab–Department of Acoustics, Chief Audiologist for the 10th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq, Instructor for the Army Medical Department Center and School, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health.
