Evan L. Evans, PhD

I have been active in ASHA since 1969 (finished CCC's in the early 70's). I began my career with an Education Service District as a Speech, Language Pathologist/Audiologist. In 1980, I was offered an opportunity to pursue and complete a PhD program in Audiology and Education at Oregon State University. I continued as an Educational Audiologist for 21 more years.

In 1980, I began a private practice in Audiology in my local community. This was an "after hours" clinic where I was able to provide services after the school day ended. Having retired from the Public Schools in 2002; I currently have two Audiology offices and teach part time for the local University in the Speech Communications Department.
