Professional Bio
I began my career as a speech-language pathologist and, then, eventually became dually certified. I completed my Bachelor's degree (1990) at SUNY Geneseo, and then Indiana State University (1991) for my Master's degree. I completed a Master's in Audiology at Miami University of Ohio, and a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida in 2005. In the area of audiology my interests are in pediatric aural rehabilitation and auditory processing. I am employed as Clinical Director at United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton, Ohio, a non-profit agency, where I oversee all aspects of speech-language pathology, audiology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. I am interested in this position because I believe strongly in our profession and want to be a part of its development.
