Professional Bio
I am a Professor and Department Chair at Montclair State University. Together with my colleagues, I was able to successfully transfer the audiology doctoral program from another New Jersey institution to Montclair State in 2005. As a result, New Jersey continues to have an audiology doctoral program with 25 students currently enrolled. I have served on the editorial board of Ear and Hearing since 1980. My current research focuses on the effects of aging on spatial hearing and the brain-behavior relationships of binaural hearing. My research has been published in more than 25 peer-reviewed publications and has been supported by grants from NIH, DRF, and AHRF. Since 2004 I have served as a consultant to ETS for the audiology Praxis.
