Professional Bio
In my current position, I have had the opportunity to be involved with professional activities at the state and national level as well as on campus. I have served on several campus committees [e.g., Tenure; Graduate Council; Promotion; Academic Advising; Assessment; and Faculty Senate]. In addition, my service on various ASHA committees/boards has provided me with a solid understanding how audiology fits into the academic and clinical preparation of students as well as understanding the concerns of audiologists in a variety of work settings. As a member of the former Legislative Council, I had many opportunities to demonstrate my ability to work within a group framework. By serving on the Audiology Advisory Council, I would be ready to accept that responsibility once again.
