Professional Bio
While I have been a member of ASHA for over 20 years, my interest in audiology began when I started my career as a hearing aid dispenser over 30 years ago. In this time I have worked in a variety of settings from ENT offices to private practice, and at the same time continued academically, first through my masters degree, and currently through pursuit of my AuD.
During this time, audiology has begun to establish itself as an autonomous profession. My intention as an audiology representative for Idaho is to advocate for our field in such a way as to encourage continued growth while resisting any effort to limit progress towards independent practitioner status.
