Professional Bio

Carolyn Brown is a professor at the University of Iowa with joint appointments in the Departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Otolaryngology. She has expertise in the area of cochlear implants and auditory evoked potentials and has served as an investigator on the Electrophysiology section of the Iowa Cochlear Implant Center Grant for the past 15 years. Dr. Brown has published more than 50 peer reviewed studies and book chapters and has been actively involved in the development of the AuD program at the University of Iowa.
