Foundation Founders Breakfast
Friday, November 18
6:45 am - 8:30 am
Manchester Grand Hyatt
Elizabeth Ballroom A
The Manchester Grand Hyatt, a prime waterfront location with breathtaking bay views, plays host to one of the most inspirational events of the annual Convention: the ASHFoundation's Founders Breakfast. Our Foundation friends will gather here on this Friday morning to applaud the Foundation's investment in the brilliant minds of our scholars and researchers and be inspired by the generosity of our loyal donors.
The Founders Breakfast is an extraordinary celebration of how the Foundation is furthering ground-breaking research, training the next generation of professionals, and improving clinical care. Plan now to meet our talented awardees and visionary donors and witness our new program announcements.
Donors at the Founders level and above will receive personal invitations with program highlights and cost information. It's never too late to become a Foundation donor! Contact the Foundation office at 301-897-7341.

New Investigator Roundtable
Sunday, November 20
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
San Diego Convention Center, Room 6A
The eighth annual New Investigator Roundtable will provide a venue for individuals who are in the beginning stages of their research careers to interact with more seasoned investigators. Through informal "roundtable" discussions, new investigators (graduate and doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty) will meet with individuals in the professions who can offer advice concerning successful careers in research (e.g., beginning a research career, balancing research and other activities, and obtaining external funding).
Closing Sunset Party
Sunday, November 20
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Embarcadero Park (on the bay next to the Grand Hyatt and Marriott Hotels)
What better way to close the Convention than with a party at sunset. Plan now to join the fun on Sunday afternoon and experience one of San Diego's most beautiful sites-sunset on the bay. There will be food, cash bars, street entertainers, music, and areas for sitting with friends and colleagues to say good bye until the next ASHA.
If you will be at the party, please use the registration form to order a FREE ticket so that we can be sure to order enough food and special treats for everyone.
