Greetings!
A gathering of the best minds in the profession, a gathering of professional peers, and a gathering of friends has always been the underlying premise of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association Annual Convention.
We have chosen as this year's theme, United in Science and Service. We hope to highlight the integral and very important relationship between the practicing clinician and the research scientist. Submissions from audiology practitioners and hearing scientists that underscore the link between basic and applied research and clinical practice are encouraged.
Moreover, we welcome submissions by students, international colleagues, and those in our field who have not presented at an ASHA Convention in the past -- including academics, professionals in related fields and practicing clinicians who have not yet had the opportunity to share their knowledge. If you have integrated techniques from related disciplines in your day-to-day work or are involved in collaborative research, we want to hear from you. We want to invigorate our convention with new thoughts.
Please join us by submitting a paper and taking part as we demonstrate how we are United in Science and Service in the Birthplace of Liberty, The City of Philadelphia, the home of the 2004 American Speech-Language and Hearing Association Annual Convention!
