Convention Chair for Audiology

Get ready! The 2003 Audiology Convention at ASHA promises to be a colossal educational event for all audiologists regardless of professional setting as well as audiology students at various levels of training. This year, we will meet November 13th-15th in Chicago where fun-filled attractions, shopping, and fine dining abound. Best of all, the Windy City is easily accessed from all regions of the United States.

Your Program Committee is a star studded Who’s Who list of highly respected, well-known leaders in our field. This notable group includes Brenda Ryals, Patty McCarthy, Rick Talbott, Fred Bess, Paul Kileny and Dennis Burrows. Please respond to their call for papers. The process is painless, totally electronic, and is an excellent opportunity to highlight your particular knowledge and skills to fellow audiologists.

These colleagues and their respective committees are already hard at work, toiling to bring us outstanding special sessions, instruction courses, technical/platform papers and poster sessions. The educational activities will be presented at Convention by some of our best and brightest and will highlight the latest in practice and research. This year’s program will also include student organized sessions that will be a special treat for all.

As always, the Audiology Convention at ASHA will include non-competing Keynote Speaker Sessions. By popular request, our keynote speakers will be currently practicing audiologists who are nationally and internationally recognized for their areas of expertise. We are so very pleased and fortunate to have as our Keynoters Drs. Lu Beck, Judy Gravel, and Richard Seewald. These renowned audiologists’ keynote presentations will be informative and entertaining. Finally, planned social events will provide ample food, drink, fun and networking opportunities.

This one is a don’t miss! Answer the call for papers, register, and arrange housing and travel plans early.

See you in Chicago!
