Badge - NSSLHA ExperienceFunding Available for Chapters to Experience the Energy!

The national office has funds to help your local NSSLHA chapter send students to The NSSLHA Experience in Chicago.

Local chapters can apply to volunteer as NSSLHA Experience Ambassadors and help the NSSLHA Executive Council host student Convention activities, or local chapters can form teams for a chance to win up to $1,000 in cash and prizes in the NSSLHA Knowledge Bowl.

Applications for the NSSLHA Experience Ambassadors Program and the NSSLHA Knowledge Bowl are open until 11:59 p.m. EST, Thursday, October 31, 2013.

Local chapters interested in the opportunity to serve as NSSLHA Experience Ambassadors must:

Provide no fewer than 15 and no more than 30 students registered for the ASHA Convention who are available to work in The NSSLHA Experience starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m. Students who have been accepted as student volunteers with ASHA are not eligible to volunteer as Ambassadors.

Badge - NSSLHA Knowledge BowlLocal chapters interested in forming teams for the Knowledge Bowl must:

Provide no fewer than 3 and no more than 5 students registered for the ASHA Convention who will represent the team. Only one team per region will be selected.

Prizes will be awarded by December 31, 2013. The chapters and/or students selected will be required to complete an IRS Form W-9 to receive prizes.
