New Stats on Children with Disabilities

According to a recently released U.S. Census Bureau analysis, 5.2% of U.S. children ages 5 to 17 have a disability. The analysis also found that those children with special needs were most likely to have cognitive difficulties, and were more likely than their typically developing peers to attend public schools rather than private.
