Time is running out for members of Congress to extend the Medicare therapy caps that are provided under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. The current extension provides exceptions to the caps through Dec. 31, 2010. If Congress fails to act on this issue before the end of the year, beneficiaries will be subject to a combined cap of $1,870 on physical therapy and speech-language pathology services beginning Jan. 2, 2011.
Take action now to extend the therapy caps extension process. Send an e-mail to your Congressional representatives today.
