IES Announces FY2012 Request for Applications for Grant Competitions

The Institute of Education Sciences (IES), U.S. Department of Education, recently requested applications for research projects that will contribute to a number of its research programs, including its special education research programs in such areas as: Early Intervention and Early Learning in Special Education; Reading, Writing, and Language Development; Cognition and Student Learning in Special Education; Professional Development for Teachers and Related Services Providers; and Special Education Policy. Applications became available April 21, 2011, or will become available by July 21, 2011, depending on the competition round for the particular request for applications (RFAs).
