If you haven't already done so, please
complete ASHA's public policy online survey. This survey requires you to rate 11
issues based on what's important to you. This is your opportunity to let ASHA
know what issues are important to you and where you think ASHA's advocacy
efforts should be directed next year. The survey closes on May 19,
We thank everyone who has participated in the annual input
process. If you are interested in learning more about ASHA's advocacy efforts,
then check out the 2013-2014
Agenda in Action. The Agenda in Action is based on ASHA's annual
public policy agenda (PPA) and summarizes the outcomes of the Association's
advocacy efforts over the past year. The Agenda in Action, published annually by
ASHA's Government Relations and Public Policy (GRPP) Board, shows the connection
between the public policy agenda and ASHA's commitment to advocacy.
Members are invited to complete an online survey that
will help ASHA's GRPP Board develop the Association's 2015 Public Policy Agenda.
By focusing ASHA's advocacy efforts on issues most important to members, we have
been able to achieve successful outcomes and advancements in federal and state
legislative and regulatory arenas.
