ASHA Releases Agenda in Action 2012–2013

(May 23, 2013)

Are you interested in learning more about ASHA's advocacy efforts? If your answer is yes, then check out the 2012–2013 Agenda in Action [PDF]. The Agenda in Action is based on ASHA's annual public policy agenda (PPA) and summarizes the outcomes of the Association's advocacy efforts over the past year. The Agenda in Action, published annually by ASHA's Government Relations and Public Policy (GRPP) Board, shows the connection between the public policy agenda and ASHA's commitment to advocacy.

Background

Each year, ASHA's GRPP Board solicits membership to learn what legislative and regulatory issues matter most. The results are used to develop the PPA. Issues included in the PPA become the focus of ASHA resources and efforts allocated for advocacy.

From May 13 through June 7, 2013, the GRPP Board is soliciting member input to develop next year's PPA. Please take 5 minutes to complete an online survey and let the Board know what issues are important to you!

For your reference, the 2013 Public Policy Agenda is posted on ASHA's website.
